The following incidents were listed among the official reports of area police departments. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.
TRAFFIC
Arkadiusz Wajda, 20 of 3604 N. Oak Park Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 12:29 p.m. July 23 on 7400 block of Fullerton Avenue and charged with driving without a valid driver’s license. His court date is Aug. 24.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
At 4:01 p.m. July 23 a home was reported damaged on 2400 block of 77th Avenue. Unknown persons threw a rock through the front window of a home.
At 4:55 p.m. July 23 a vehicle was reported damaged on 2100 block of 75th Avenue. Sometime between 6 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. July 19 unknown persons damaged the rear driver’s side door of a vehicle.
At 3:04 a.m. July 24 a vehicle was reported damaged on 2600 block of Harlem Avenue. Unknown persons shattered rear window, driver’s side window and windshield of a vehicle.
At 1:27 p.m. July 25 a car was reported damaged on 2700 block of 74th Avenue. A gray 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer was keyed and dented.
At 5:31 p.m. July 26 a car was reported damaged on 2600 block of 74th Avenue. Sometime overnight unknown persons entered a garage and punctured three tires on a blue BMW and damaged the front windhshield.
At 3:24 p.m. July 29 a vehicle was reported damaged on 7200 block of Wrightwood Avenue. Sometime between 8 p.m. July 28 and 12 p.m. July 29 unknown persons keyed the trunk of a vehicle.
BURGLARY
At 5:07 p.m. July 23 a car was burglarized on 1800 block of 77th Avenue. Sometime between 12 a.m. July 23 and 7 a.m. July 23 unknown persons broke into a black BMW and took a briefcase and took an iPod Nano.
At 7:31 p.m. July 24 an apartment was burglarized on 7400 block of North Avenue. Sometime between 7 a.m. and 5:20 p.m. July 24 unknown persons entered a condominium and took two laptop computers, a Kindle Fire tablet, 10 DVDs and a gym bag. Total value was $2,250.
At 12:09 p.m. July 26 a car was burglarized near 72nd Court and Belden Avenue. Unknown persons removed papers.
THEFT
At 9:48 p.m. July 26 a theft was reported on 2200 block of 75th Court. Sometime between 3 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. July 26 unknown persons forced entry into a vehicle and removed numerous tools.
BATTERY
Katherine Maciorowski, 37, of 1227 W. Jackson Blvd., Chicago, was arrested at 4:39 p.m. July 28 on 2400 block of Harlem Avenue and charged with battery. She allegedly poked a security guard in the chest with her finger after she refused to show her receipt to the security guard. Her court date is Sept. 16.

VANDALISM
A brick was reported thrown through the windshield of a 2006 vehicle on the 2600 block of Part Street at 4:41 a.m. July 29.
THEFT
A spare tire was stolen from a Jeep Wrangler on the 3700 block of River Road between 10:15 a.m. and 4:14 p.m. July 26.
A Toshiba laptop computer worth $800 was reported stolen from a garage on the 3400 block of Scott Street at 9:57 a.m. July 24
VANDALISM
A man punched the front door of Peacock Mobile, 9001 Belmont, at 9 p.m. July 25, breaking the glass.
BURGLARY
A Garmin GPS unit was reported stolen from a 2003 Toyota Corolla on the 3500 block of George Street at 9:10 a.m. July 24.
A bicycle was reported stolen from the back porch of a home on the 9700 block of Schiller Boulevard at 12:17 p.m. July 17.
Northlake
ALCOHOL
Tai Tran, 30, of 1711 N. 40th, Stone Park, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage and having an expired drivers license near Geneva and Dickins at 3:35 a.m. July 21. His next court date is Aug. 21.
Karen Ocampo, 26, 2033 N. Louis St., Melrose Park, was charged with driving under the influence of a drug or a combination of drugs, endangering the life a child (a passenger) an expired license, no insurance and unlawful possession of cannabis near Armitage and Mannheim at 7:45 p.m. July 23. Her next court date is Sept 4.
Luis Alvarez, 36, of 121 N. 21st, Melrose Park, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol and no driver’s license at 5:11 a.m. July 22 near Lake and Mannheim. His next court date is Aug 21.
Chad Metzger, 35, of 2816 Dundee, Northbrook, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding near Lake Street and 44th at 1:30 a.m. July 26. His next court date is Aug. 21.
VANDALISM
Someone scratched the front driver’s side quarter panel of a 2012 Kia with a sharp instrument on the first block of King Arthur Court between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on July 20.
A brick was thrown through the rear window of a house on the 400 block of Geneva between 10:30 a.m. July 23 and 5 a.m. the next day.
