Local kids interested in improving their soccer skills should look no further than Triton College, which is hosting a series of youth soccer camps.
The camps are being run by Triton College’s men’s soccer team and boys and girls 5 to 15 years old can participate. The two remaining sessions for the summer run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 14-18 and July 28 – Aug. 1.
Cost to participate ranges between $230 and $250 for the full day, depending on the participant’s age, and half day rates are $190. Attendees will be coached by Triton’s head soccer coach, Piotr Sliwa, and 30 former Triton Trojan players who have played key roles in winning five regional soccer championships over the past six years.
The camp will focus on technical, physical and psychological requirements of the game at each age level. The soccer camps will take place on the college’s soccer field on the west side of campus.
