Elmwood Park police blotter: Man charged with slapping coworker’s butt

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of area police departments. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.



  • Sergio Oswaldo Lara, 27, of 362 N. Kilpatrick, Chicago, was charged with battery at 3:31 p.m. August 3 on the 7200 block of Grand Avenue. According to police reports, Lara slapped the buttocks of a co-worker while she was walking into her place of employment. His next court date is August 21.


  • Marcin Tulicki, 30, of 2021 N. 19th Avenue, Melrose Park, was arrested on the 7200 block of W. George St at 9:03 p.m. July 31. According to police reports, an officer saw Tulicki riding a bicycle without a headlamp. He pulled him over and found Tulicki was wanted on a warrant from DuPage County for not appearing for a court date.


Police did not report any major crimes this week.
