ARCC: (Active Retired Citizens Club) meets noon-2 p.m. Aug. 17 on the Triton College Campus, 2000 Fifth Ave., River Grove. The ARCC is an activity and social club for community residents who are young at heart, and interested in expanding their social and intellectual life through adult education and community programs. Dial-A-Ride Program: serving Northlake and Melrose Park (north of North Avenue) and Franklin Park, Schiller Park, River Grove, Rosemont and Elmwood Park. 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday inside Leyden Township. Live It Up Club: 1 p.m. Aug. 14 at Grant Park Recreation Center, 44 W. Golfview, Northlake. Free pastries and coffee. Bingo follows meeting. Trips and events. Membersip boundaries: within the City of Northlake and the unincorporated area of Leyden Township. Membership $5 per year.

RSVP: (Retired Seniors Volunteer Program) meets in Room R-221, of the Robert Collins Center on Triton’s main campus, 2000 Fifth Ave., in River Grove. RSVP is a volunteer program for individuals 55+. Many volunteer opportunities, including those with literacy organizations, educational institutions, hospitals, senior centers and faith-based organizations. Looking for volunteers to serve as exercise and aquatic program leaders, resale shop clerks, economic tax counselors, data entry clerks, mentors, clerical and more. Westdale Senior Club: Looking for new members.
