Friends of the Elmwood Park Library held a book bingo on Jan. 17 at the library.
Since 2002, Friends of the Library has raised close to $17,000 through membership fees and used book sales held twice a year. These sales are held in June and December.
Officers of Friends of the Library include Jim Ashby, president; Linda Funk, vice president; Mary Sullivan, secretary; and Carol Zagorski, treasurer.
The Friends hold monthly meetings on the second Monday of every month (except August). For more information, call (708) 453-7645.
