An Elmwood Park bank was robbed Jan. 31 of an undisclosed amount of money.
At 9:04 a.m. Elmwood Park police received a report of an armed robbery at Charter One Bank, 7312 W. Grand Ave.
A heavy-set, white man, about 6 feet tall, revealed a handgun and demanded money. He took the cash and left the scene.
No one was hurt in the bank robbery.
The investigation has been turned over to the FBI.
There is a reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person. Anyone with information should call the FBI Chicago Branch at (312) 421-6700.
