Man fatally shot in Oak Park

A man was fatally shot Saturday morning in Oak Park, just over the border with Chicago’s Austin neighborhood.
The unidentified man, believed to be in his 20s, was shot on the 700 block of North Austin in Oak Park, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office. He was dead on the scene.
The CTA’s No. 91 Austin bus was rerouted in both directions around the area of the shooting from about 7:30 a.m., according to a CTA rider alert. By about 10:45 a.m. the busses were back on their normal routes.
