Karen Wojcik, who grew up in Elmwood Park, returned home last week to share her love of writing with others at the Elmwood Park Library.
The event took place June 28 at the library, where Wojcik shared some of the books she’s written with those in attendance especially her first novel “A Whisper to a Scream.” The book is a vivid portrayal of contemporary marriage and all of its problems.
Wojcik has strong ties to the village attending John Mills Elementary School, the attending Elmwood Park High School, where she graduated, then going on to Dominican University.
