Elmwood Park, River Grove police blotter for Aug. 20

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Elmwood Park and River Grove police departments. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

Elmwood Park

THEFT

Laurie Fasanella, 48, of 7450 W. Grand Ave., Elmwood Park, was arrested at 5:16 p.m. Aug. 19 on the 2400 block of Harlem Avenue and charged with retail theft. She allegedly tried to leave Caputo’s Fresh Market with $34.75 worth of merchandise without paying. Her court date is Sept. 14.

Andrew A. Fico, 45, of 819 N. 14th Ave., Melrose Park, was arrested at 3:58 p.m. Aug. 14 on the 2400 block of Harlem Avenue and charged with retail theft. His court date is Sept. 14.

TRAFFIC

Anna Mroczek, 23, of 1900 Harlem Ave., Elmwood Park, was arrested at 4:24 a.m. Aug. 20 on the 1900 block of Harlem Avenue and charged with driving while license suspended and driving without insurance. Her court date is Sept. 28.

Felix Dirzo-Rabadan, 26, of 2843 N. Linder Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 6:15 a.m. Aug. 19 on the 7200 block of Grand Avenue and charged with driving without a legal driver’s license. His court date is Sept. 20.

River Grove

BATTERY

Nick Demonte, 36, of 7840 W. North Ave., Elmwood Park, was arrested at 1:41 a.m. Aug. 17 on the 8200 block of Grand Avenue and charged with battery and two counts of obstruction. His court date is Sept. 25.~.
