T he following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Elmwood Park and River Grove police departments. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.
River Grove
THEFT
Marcello Dellogio, 39, of 9877 Garden Court, Schiller Park, was arrested at noon Aug. 24 on the 9800 block of Garden Court and charged with retail theft. On Aug. 6, he entered Dominick’s on the 3100 block of Thatcher Avenue and allegedly left the store with $233 worth Rogaine without paying. His court date is Sept. 11.
Abel Chavarria, 28, of 8844 W. Grand Ave., River Grove, was arrested at 6:41 p.m. Aug. 25 on the 8300 block of Belmont Avenue and charged with retail theft. He allegedly tried to leave Walgreens with $77.68 in merchandise without paying for it. His court date is Sept. 20.
ALCOHOL
Julio Ramirez, 27, of 8487 W. Arnold St., River Grove, was arrested at 10:44 p.m. Aug. 23 at Grand and Thatcher avenues and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol. His court date is Sept. 25.
PROTECTION ORDER
Victor Fuentes, 43, of 5920 W. Diversey Ave., Chicago, turned himself over to police at 4:10 p.m. Aug. 20 and was charged with violating an order of protection. He allegedly violated the order at 11:08 a.m. Aug. 18 by making contact with his children. His court date is Aug. 30.~.
