BP lists stations that sold tainted gasoline

BP has posted a searchable database for consumers who want to check whether gas stations they use had tainted gasoline.
To check a station, go to BP’s site . By typing in the name of a city, the site will list the addresses of the retail sites that received “off-specification gasoline” related to problem with BP’s Whiting, Ind., refinery.
Area addresses in the database include:
• Oak Park: BP at 203 Madison; BP at 6119 W. North Ave.; BP at 727 N Harlem Ave.
• Elmwood Park: BP at 7600 W. North Ave.; BP at 7450 W. Grand Ave.; BP at 2758 N Harlem Ave.
• River Grove: BP at 8800 W. Grand Ave.
• Franklin Park: non-BP station at 2640 Mannheim Road
