ELMWOOD PARK

Residents and business owners will have the opportunity Wednesday to hear what Elmwood Park’s police department is doing to keep the village safe.

The Elmwood Park Police Department will have a village-wide Community-Oriented Policing meeting from 7-9 p.m. Sept. 5 at the Parks and Recreation Center, 2 Conti Parkway. Information about the number and types of crimes the village has experienced, trends on the local and national level and crime prevention strategies to help residents and businesses will be provided.

Residents and business owners are urged to ask questions and express their concerns.
