Elmwood Park, River Grove police blotter for Sept. 17

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Elmwood Park and River Grove police departments. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

Elmwood Park

BURGLARY

Daniel P. Parker, 22, of 720 S. Salem Court, Schaumburg, was arrested at 5:44 a.m. Sept. 13 on the 7800 block of Sunset Drive and charged with burglary. He allegedly broke into a car. His court date is Sept. 19.

Anna K. Cabaj, 21, of 116 Boardwalk St., Elk Grove Village, was arrested at 5:46 a.m. Sept. 13 on the 7800 block of Sunset Drive and charged with burglary. She and an accomplice allegedly broke into a car. Her court date is Sept. 19.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

The two front tires of a blue 2003 Toyota Matrix and three tires on a white Mazda were slashed on the 7800 block of North Avenue. The damage was discovered at 9:27 a.m. Sept. 13.

River Grove

ALCOHOL

Ivan Argritino-Martinez, 32, of 4014 N. Mason Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 11:47 p.m. Sept. 16 on the 8000 block of Grand Avenue and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, no valid driver’s license and driving with open alcohol. His court date is Sept. 19.

Jaroslaw Kowalewski, 22, of 5947 W. Grace Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 7:13 p.m. Sept. 15 at Belmont Avenue and Elm Street and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol. His court date is Sept. 19.

Steven Muscari, 27, of 20 Crescent Road, Lake Zurich, was arrested at 9:14 p.m. Sept. 12 at Belmont and Thatcher avenues after allegedly leaving an accident at Belmont Avenue and River Road. He was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol as well as driving on a suspended license, assault, possession of drug paraphernalia and reckless driving. Muscari allegedly threatened the other driver involved in the accident. His court date is Oct. 23.

BATTERY

Johnathan Figeroa, 20, of 8660 Fullerton Ave., River Grove, was arrested at 8:43 p.m. Sept. 9 at Rhodes and Fullerton avenues and charged with battery. He allegedly was fighting someone when police arrived at the scene. His court date is Oct. 18.
