Three in custody over Elmwood Park burglary

ELMWOOD PARK — Police had three persons of interest in custody in connection with a residential burglary Thursday.
Elmwood Park Police Chief Frank Fagiano said police were alerted to a house being broken into on the 7200 block of Altgeld Street early Thursday afternoon.
Police later stopped a suspicious vehicle and allegedly found items from the victim’s residence inside.
Fagiano Thursday said charges were pending and the incident remained under investigation.
