Elmwood Park, River Grove police blotter Sept. 24

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Elmwood Park and River Grove police departments. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

Elmwood Park

ASSAULT

James Pavino, 41, of 2531 N. 72nd Court, Elmwood Park, was arrested at 8:13 p.m. Sept. 20 on the 2500 block of North 72nd Court and charged with aggravated assault and possession of drug paraphernalia. He allegedly placed a kitchen knife close to a woman’s face during an argument. The woman later called police. His court date is Sept. 27.

River Grove

THEFT

Bartosz Sikorski, 32, of 5310 N. Chester Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 11:42 p.m. Sept. 22 on the 3100 block of Thatcher Avenue and charged with retail theft. He allegedly entered Dominick’s, took a bottle of Kettle One vodka, valued at about $38, and attempted to leave without paying. He was stopped by store security and turned over to police. His court date is Oct. 18.

Andriy Modnyy, 34, of 8240 O’Conner Drive, River Grove, was arrested at 7:39 p.m. Sept. 22 on the 3100 block of Thatcher Avenue and charged with retail theft. Modnyy allegedly entered Dominick’s, ripped up two packs of Durex condoms, valued at $15, put the condoms in his pocket and allegedly tried to leave without paying. He was stopped by store security and turned over to police. His court date is Oct. 18.

ALCOHOL

Adrian Villalba, 27, of 2538 N. Tripp Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 12:58 a.m. Sept. 22 at Grand and Thatcher avenues and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use and illegal transportation of alcohol. His court date is Oct. 23.

Roy Kramer, 59, of 3834 N. Sayer Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 10:26 p.m. Sept. 21 at Grand Avenue and River Road and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use, no valid driver’s license and illegal transportation of alcohol. His court date is Oct. 18. ~.
