Elmwood Park, River Grove police blotters for Oct. 1

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Elmwood Park and River Grove police departments. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.
Elmwood Park
BATTERY
Matthew C. Ove, 52, of 7716 W. Sunset Drive, Elmwood Park, was arrested at 8:22 p.m. Sept. 28 on the 7700 block of Sunset Drive and charged with domestic battery. He allegedly grabbed a female relative’s upper arm, causing bruising. His court date is Oct. 3.
Gonzalo Aguilera, 27, of 2717 N. 73rd Ave., Elmwood Park, was arrested at 4:35 p.m. Sept. 27 on the 2700 block of 73rd Avenue and charged with domestic battery. He allegedly struck a female relative in the face and spit on her. His court date is Oct. 4.
CRIMINAL TRESSPASS
Stanley Gustowski, 61, of 2228 S. 58th St., Cicero, was arrested at 10:23 p.m. Sept. 27 on the 7700 block of Grand Avenue and charged with criminal trespassing. He allegedly tried to see his mother at a senior care facility, where he is not allowed to visit. While in custody, he was also charged with possession of a controlled substance. Police reported discovering heroin in one of his socks, which they allege he tried to swallow, and hypodermic needles were found on his person. His has an Oct. 3 court date for the possession charge, and a Nov. 9 court date for the initial charge.
River Grove
ALCOHOL
Jakub Siemionko, 58, of 9026 W. Fullerton Ave., River Grove, was arrested at 11:36 p.m. Sept. 28 on the 3000 block of River Road and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol. His court date is Oct. 23.
Rodolfo Roman, 39, of 2453 Harding Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 8:53 p.m. Sept. 28 on the 8000 block of Grand Avenue and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol. His court date is Oct. 25.~.
