Elmwood Park, River Grove police blotter for Oct. 29

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Elmwood Park and River Grove police departments. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

Elmwood Park

BATTERY

Carlos Acevedo, 33, of 5 Prairie View Court, North Chicago, was arrested at 4:07 a.m. Oct. 28 on the 7900 block of Grand Avenue and charged with domestic battery. His court date is Nov. 1.

TRAFFIC

Luis M. Reyes-Perez, 32, of 2231 W. Kedvale Ave., Chicago, was cited at 8:27 p.m. Oct. 22 on the 2100 block of 76th Avenue with driving without a valid driver’s license. His court date is Nov. 9.

Juan Carlos Montiel-Lopez, 27, of 2746 N. 76th Ave., Elmwood Park, was cited at 4:16 a.m. Oct. 24 on the 2700 block of Harlem Avenue with driving without a valid driver’s license and driving on a suspended license. His court date is Nov. 30.

River Grove

ALCOHOL

Xochitl Gonzalez, 35, of 3725 W. Diversey Ave. Apt. 2R, Chicago, was arrested at 11:38 p.m. Oct. 26 at Grand Avenue and Webster Street and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol. His court date is Nov. 27.

Jovanie Vazquez, 26, of 2920 N. Harlem Ave., Elmwood Park, was arrested at 6:31 a.m. Oct. 27 on the 2500 block of Eastbrook Road and Fullerton Avenue in Elmwood Park and charged with felony driving while under the influence of alcohol, driving on a revoked driver’s license and hit and run. His court date is Oct. 31.
