Pancakes to support music program on April 21

The River Grove Elementary School Music Organization is sponsoring its annual Pancake Breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 21, in the school’s commons area at 2650 Thatcher Ave., in River Grove.
This event is one of many fund-raisers designed to support the general music and band programs by the — River Grove Music Organization.
Last year this event drew about 200 people. The day was made more enjoyable as parents and school administrators donned aprons and flipped (pancakes). The Jazz Band and Pep Bands will entertain.
Proceeds from this and the other events sponsored by the RGMO offset the cost of the school’s music program.
The public is invited to participate.
The cost of entry is $6 for adults and $3 for seniors or those under age 15 for “All-You-Can-Eat” pancakes and drinks.
On display are also the commemorative bricks purchased by supporters of the school. These will be set into the pavement around the school building to remember contributions of many families and people interested in the children of River Grove.
