University president named to Lincoln Library board

Dominican University President Donna M. Carroll has been appointed by Illinois Governor Pat Quinn to the advisory board of the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library in Springfield. Carroll will serve as a board member through 2014.
The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library Advisory Board is responsible for recommending programs for implementation in support of the Lincoln Presidential Library, such as seminars, symposia and conferences.
Carroll has been president of Dominican University, 7900 W. Division St., in River Forest, since 1994.
