Updated: October 11, 2012 4:02PM

The Summer Gifted and Talented Program, for children in second through eighth grade, held at Dominican University, 7900 S. Division, in River Forest, provides enriching opportunities for academic and social growth and quite potentially, a life-defining experience for the gifted and talented student. Domincan’s learning community is strong and supportive and full of bright minds.

Take a look through this year’s summer brochure and review the course offerings online. Popular favorites such as Chemical Reactions, SketchUp Architecture and Mathopoly are back by popular demand and new classes in music and art, as well as chess and aerodynamics, are being introduced.

Tuition for each course per week is $225, plus any applicable supply or lab fees. Apply for all four weeks and enroll for $800 total, plus any applicable supply or lab fees.

Course descriptions, as well as the application and teacher recommendation forms, can be downloaded and printed from Dominican’s website dom.edu/soe/programs/summergifted.html.

If you have any questions or comments, e-mail gifted@dom.edu or call (708) 524-6525, Janie Wu, director of the Summer Gifted and Talented Program.
