Ring in the holidays by attending “A Christmas Duet,” an original two-act play presented by the well-respected Geringer’s Players, appearing for the first time in Chicagoland.
Performances will be at 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, and Saturday, Dec. 3, and a Sunday matinée at 3 p.m. Dec. 4 at Our Saviour Lutheran School at 7151 W. Cornelia, a block south of Addison Street on Harlem Avenue in Chicago near Elmwood Park.
The play examines the Christmas spirit as seen through several eyes. Among these is Charles Dickens, who explains how he got the idea for his “Christmas Carol.” You will learn new and fascinating facts about the novel.
Tickets are $5 for adults; $3 for seniors and children. Tickets are available at the door or by calling Joe Geringer at (630) 240-3446.
Proceeds help pay tuition to Our Saviour Lutheran School for some local area families.
