Chris Nakatsuka wins the gold in bowling

On Dec. 3, the Illinois State Special Olympics Competition in bowling was held at Landmark Lanes in Peoria, Ill.
Christopher Nakatsuka, a lifelong resident of Elmwood Park, and a graduate of West Leyden High School, Northlake, was the lone representative who qualifed from WSSRA (West Suburban Special Recreation Association).
Chris successfully took First Place in the Adult 16 and over category with a series of 440 and won the Gold Medal in that category.
He is the son of Chris and Walt Nakatsuka, of Elmwood Park.
