The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Elmwood Park and River Grove police departments. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

Elmwood Park

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

At 5:37 p.m. April 23 a vehicle was reported damaged on 2600 block of 73rd Court. Unknown persons used a BB gun to shoot out the rear passenger window of a car.

At 5:45 p.m. April 23 a vehicle was reported damaged on 2600 block of 73rd Court. Unknown persons used a BB gun to shoot at the front passenger side door of a car from the window of a residence.

At 8:59 p.m. April 23 a door to an apartment was reported damaged on 2400 block of 76th Avenue. Unknown persons tried to force open the back door to a basement apartment damaging the door and the frame.

At 7:10 p.m. April 24 a window was reported damaged on 2300 block of Harlem Avenue. Sometime between 7:45 a.m. and 5:35 p.m. April. 24 unknown persons damaged the window to an apartment possibly to gain entry.

At 10:12 p.m. April 25 a fence was reported damaged on 2400 block of 77th Avenue. Unknown persons removed a small metal fence and flowers from a property.

At 4:36 a.m. April 27 a window was reported damaged on 7800 block of Grand Avenue. Unknown persons damaged the window of a business.

At 5:15 a.m. April 27 a window was reported damaged on 7500 block of Grand Avenue. Unknown persons damaged the window of a business.

At 6:26 p.m. April 27 a patio door was reported damaged on 1600 block of Grand Avenue. Unknown persons used a BB gun to shoot at and damaged a patio sliding glass door.

At 5:10 p.m. April 29 a car was reported damaged on 2500 block of 73rd Avenue. Sometime between 2:45 p.m. and 3:35 p.m. unknown person poured motor oil on a 1999 Buick Rivera that was parked in the driveway.

MARIJUANA

Veltcho K. Kocheron, 26, of 2566 Forest View, River Grove, was arrested at 7:36 p.m. April 28 on 7600 block of Fullerton Avenue and charged with possession of marijuana. His court date is May 17.

NO DL

Manuel A. Eliodoro, 22, of 561 Davis St., Melrose Park, was arrested at 7:59 p.m. April 23 on 7500 block of North Avenue and charged with driving without a valid driver’s license. His court date is May 25.

Michelle E. Perez, 28, of 4457 W. Deming Place, Chicago, was arrested at 3:20 a.m. April 28 on 7300 block of Diversey Avenue and was charged with driving without a valid driver’s license. Her court date is June 8.

BATTERY

At 1:23 p.m. April 24 a domestic battery was reported on 2600 block of 75th Court.

At 10:17 a.m. April 29 a domestic battery was reported on 2500 block of 74th Court.

BURGLARY

At 6:41 p.m. April 25 a vehicle was reported burglarized on 1800 block of Harlem Avenue. Sometime between 5:50 p.m. and 6:07 p.m. unknown persons broke a window on a black Honda CRV and removed a black backpack.

THEFT

At 6:36 p.m. April 27 a theft to a motor vehicle was reported on 7700 block of Sunset Drive. Sometime between April 25 and the morning of April 26 the spare tire was removed from a Toyota Highlander.

River Grove

DUI

Leonardo Delgado, 21, of 2304 N. Mango Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 4:20 a.m. April 29 at Belmont Avenue and River Road and charged driving while under the influence of alcohol and contributing to the delinquency of a child. There were allegedly 15-year-old girls in the car who had been drinking with him. His court date is May 17.

Daniel Roman, 26, of 2510 N. Harlem Ave. Unit 503, Elmwood Park, was arrested at 2:41 a.m. April 28 at Roosevelt Road and Wood Street and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol. His court date May 30.

Karol Lewkowski, 27, of 454 Wood St., Wood Dale, was arrested at 1:20 a.m. April 28 on 3000 block of Thatcher Avenue and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and driving on a suspended license. His court date is May 30.

DELINQUENCY

Garcia Yonil, 21, of 2239 N. Monitor Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 4:03 a.m. April 29 at Belmont and River Road and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He was in a car drinking underage girls.
