Leyden High School District 212 recently announced outstanding achievement awards for teaching.

The Gene McCormack Award for Fine Teaching, East – Anna Reed ; West – Stacy Cunningham.

The Bob Swords Award for Fine Teaching, East – Mark Valintis; West – Anthony Zitzka.

The Thomas Masters Award for Fine Teaching, East – Lisa BaranJanco; West – Amy Meister.

The Reg Green Award for Fine Teaching, East – Chuck Novotny; West – John Back.

The Mike Dickey Award for Fine Teaching, East – Nicole Sweeney; West – Laurie Dempsey.

The John Schroeder Award for Significant Staff Contribution, East – Margeret Maggiore; East – Linda Kocjancich.

The Norma Thompson Award for Significant Staff Contribution, West – Michelle Lundy; West – Kevin Nawracaj.
