On March 9, students, faculty and staff participated in the first Hunger Banquet.

In solidarity with the 925 million people who are hungry worldwide, the Trinity community shared one small meal (rice and water) at lunch.

Students sat on the floor as much of the world does when they eat. A small sampling of students were randomly selected to eat a meal as the first world does — with linens and table service.

Youth Ending Hunger prepared a presentation and music that played throughout the meal.
