Earth & Sky Shows, “The Xtra Terrestrial Files,” 7:30 p.m. and Laser Shows, 9 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays; Children’s Shows, 2 p.m. Sundays; and Sunday Sampler, 3 p.m. Sundays. The 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22 shows will be replaced by the Monthly Skywatch. Fee: $8-$10 for adults; $4-$5 for children and senior citizens. “Big Event”

Starts at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 8. Brother Guy Consolmagno, research astronomer and planetary scientist of the Vatican Observatory, is the guest speaker. The “Big Event” is only open to Cernan Earth and Space Center members and their immediate families, but membership is open to anyone. Reservations required. Military Veterans’
Networking Group

Meet & Greet, 12:30-2 p.m. Sept. 10 in Room B-130A. All military veterans are invited to socialize and support other veterans. The group, open to student veterans and veterans in the community, is designed to assist veterans with navigating the transition from military to student and home/community life.

the Mounds

From 5:30-9 p.m. Sept. 28, outside on the mounds. Enjoy a PG-rated movie. Free event with popcorn and a raffle. In case of inclement weather, the movie will be shown inside the Robert M. Collins Center.~
