Mattress sale fundraiser
Elm Middle School is hosting a “Mattress Fundraiser” from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 2 in the school cafeteria.

Proceeds go directly to Elm Middle School Student Incentives and awards.

DISTRICT 212
Leyden Little Eagle Cheer Camp
District 212 Varsity and Junior Varsity cheerleading squads are holding their first-ever Leyden Little Eagle Cheer Camp on Feb. 3 in the field house at East Leyden High School, 3400 Rose St., in Franklin Park.
The first clinic session will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. for children ages 4 to 6. The second session will be held from noon to 2 p.m. for children ages 7 to 12. Participants will learn three sideline cheers and a short halftime routine.
Participants are invited to cheer at the home basketball game on Feb. 5. Children in the four- to six-year-old group will cheer with the Junior Varsity cheerleaders at the sophomore game to be held at 5:30 p.m. and those in the seven- to 12-year-old age group will cheer with the Varsity cheerleaders at the 7 p.m. game.
The cost for the clinic is $30 for one participant or $40 for two participants. The cost includes a T-shirt and a hair ribbon to be worn during the performance at the game.
